Position Summary
The Territory Sales Representative – Hard Parts is responsible for supporting sales growth and customer relationships within an assigned geographic territory. This role focuses on promoting and selling hard parts products, providing product knowledge, and delivering consistent service to customers. The Territory Sales Representative works closely with customers and internal teams to support account growth, territory performance, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and service a portfolio of assigned customers within the territory.
Meet or exceed individual territory sales goals and performance metrics.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular visits, calls, and follow-up.
Promote and sell hard parts products by providing product knowledge and basic technical guidance.
Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, cold calling, and lead follow-up.
Coordinate with internal teams on pricing, inventory availability, and order fulfillment.
Track customer activity and sales performance using CRM and internal systems.
Participate in product training, sales meetings, and company-sponsored events.
Represent the company professionally in the field and at customer locations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2–4 years of sales experience, preferably in the automotive aftermarket or related industry.
Ability to meet sales goals and manage an assigned territory.
Working knowledge of automotive hard parts products.
Strong communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating with internal teams.
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Automotive Technology, or a related field.
Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
