Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate – Receiving is responsible for handling the receipt of products into the warehouse. This includes inspecting, sorting, and accurately counting shipments to ensure timely stocking by the warehouse team. The role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain an orderly incoming freight staging area and unloading dock
Unload all inbound freight trucks and record products on the receiving and stocking priority log
Inspect received product for damage and report issues to carriers/vendors
Track product shortages on invoices and work with Accounts Payable to resolve discrepancies
Scan and stage products using the vendor-supplied ASN in the MAM (AutoPart) software, and update pallet sheets to prepare items for stocking
Communicate with Supervisor and/or Team Lead regarding discrepancies such as missing or extra items
Coordinate with the Operations Team on product quality issues related to packaging or handling
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent
Strong computer skills, especially with MAM (Autopart) or similar systems
Basic math proficiency
Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a physically active role
Ability to work under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in warehouse receiving or logistics
Familiarity with freight scheduling and return order processing
Experience using inventory or warehouse management systems

This position is based in a warehouse setting, with some outdoor exposure. The warehouse is not fully climate-controlled, but fans and heating/cooling devices are used throughout the facility.
Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. frequently, and occasionally over 100 lbs.
Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands/arms.
Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception
Personal protective equipment (PPE), such as steel-toed or composite shoes, is required
