Position Summary 

The Warehouse Receiving Lead (1st Shift) plays a key role in overseeing the receipt and inspection of all inbound shipments. This position ensures accurate documentation, efficient organization of product flow, and coordination with internal departments to uphold product quality and inventory integrity. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Maintain a clean and organized incoming freight staging area and unloading dock. 

  • Unload all inbound freight trucks and log all products into the receiving and stocking priority system. 

  • Inspect received products for freight damage and communicate issues to carriers or vendors. 

  • Track and reconcile product shortages as identified by the Accounts Payable team. 

  • Schedule and create freight shipments for LTL, core, and return orders. 

  • Generate Pre Deliveries in MAM for all incoming freight and transfer PD numbers to pallet sheet. 

  • Unpack and perform Goods Receipts in MAM to prepare products for the stocking team. 

  • Collaborate with supervisor to resolve discrepancies between packing slips and received inventory. 

  • Partner with the operations team to identify and report product quality issues related to packaging or handling. 

  • Perform other duties as assigned. 

Required Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills. 

  • Proficiency in computer systems including MAM and spreadsheet/word processing tools (preferred). 

  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity. 

  • Forklift Certification (Preferred; must be obtained through TSE if not already certified). 

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Experience working in a warehouse receiving environment. 

  • Familiarity with MAM systems and receiving workflows.

Work Environment and Physical Demands 

  • Warehouse setting with some exposure to outdoor elements. 

  • Regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. 

  • Frequently lift/move up to 50 lbs.; occasionally up to 100 lbs. 

  • Use of hands and arms; close and distance vision required. 

PPE Requirement: Steel-Toed or Composite Shoes.
